Numerous stream gaging stations have been installed along rivers, creeks, and sloughs in the San Joaquin Valley to enable the California Department of Water Resources to monitor and catalog annual flows and water quality for the area. This project would allow DWR personnel to conduct the routine, periodic, maintenance activities needed to ensure the collection of accurate river data.
