The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2015-0030-R6, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Kern River Gas Transmission Company.
The Project involves operations and maintenance activities along Kern River's existing California pipeline system, which consists of 104 miles of two 36-inch diameter pipelines, constructed in 1991 and 2003, in San Bernardino County from the Nevada border at Primm, Nevada, to Daggett, California (mainline); 32 miles of 24-inch diameter natural gas pipeline constructed in 2001, in San Bernardino County from Kramer Junction, California, to Victorville, California (High Desert Lateral). Operations and maintenance activities will also occur on 8.6 miles of 8-inch diameter (ITP No. 2081-2011-047-06) in San Bernardino County from the existing mainline pipeline in Ivanpah Valley, California, to Molycorp Minerals LLC property at Mountain Pass, California (Mountain Pass Lateral).
