Document Description
The HDCP proposes development of 125 residential lots, a 65 room inn, and up to 40,000 sf of visitor/recreation commercial use, 62 acres of public open space, including 30.3 acres of natural resources conservation and associated infrastructure on 121.3 gross acres of land in the west central portion of the City of Dana Point. The Land Use Plan provides for the development and/or conservation of: 31.7 acres of Recreation Open Space that includes a trail system, public parks, and a public beach; 30.3 acres of Conservation Open Space that have public safety constraints, environmental resources, and/or scenic value; 4.9 acres of Visitor/Recreation Commercial land uses intended to attract local and regional visitors; and 52.1 acres of residential use providing a maximum of 125 residential lots.
