Document Description
The project activity will involve bed, bank, or channel alteration at one stream crossing of an unnamed tributary to the Eel River. The crossing is part of the creation of a timber operation skid trail to be constructed across the toe of an old unstable area within the riparian corridor of a non fish bearing watercourse. The skid trail will be constructed just below the old road grade, below the slide, and will cross the watercourse directly under the power line right-of-way. The Stream course is expected to be dry at the crossing point at the time of operations however, if there is water at the crossing site it will be able to flow through the spaces between the logs laid as a modified Spittler crossing.
