Document Description
The project would involve demolishing the existing camping spaces, fully re-grading the site, constructing new driveways, camping spaces, bicycle and pedestrian paths, and fully landscaping the site. Ninety percent of the existing trees would be maintained and incorporated into the design. In addition to the 100 RV camping spaces, the project also includes the following features: (1) The existing restroom will be renovated and a new restroom in the adjacent camping area will be constructed. (2) A new pool will be added to the existing pool/laundry building north of Lake 7. (3) A caretaker's on-site residence will be constructed just north of Lake 7, to the south of the proposed campsite renovation. (4) A new campers-only access will be constructed from Fanita Parkway between the existing campers' access and Ganley Road. This access point will be for use of existing campground users. Only initial check-in of campers would still occur via the Carlton Oaks Boulevard main access. The access gate will be located approximately 300 feet into the site to ensure that vehicles waiting to enter the site don't stack up on Fanita Parkway.
