Adoption of an Ordinance Amending Article 11, Chapter 4 of the City of Modesto Municipal Code, pertaining to the Cable Television Franchise and adoption of an Ordinance approving the Franchise Renewal Agreement with United Cable Television Corporation, a subsidiary of AT&T, including the following terms: (1) A 10-year renewal of the cable franchise based on a rebuild of the cable system within the next 24 to 36 months; and (2) Increase in the number of channels available. At the end of the rebuild, the system will be ready for broadband services to be delivered to Modesto.
