Document Description
The UC Davis campus (the campus) proposes to place approximately 36,000 cubic yards of soil excavated for construction of approved projects in the Health Sciences District on an approximately 66-acre agricultural field in the west campus. The excavated soil would be applied to the field, uniformly raising the parcel by approximately 4 inches. The placement of soil would not conflict with current operations, nor would it hinder future land uses. Site preparation for the basement of the Genome and Biomedical Sciences Facility will excavate approximately 6,000 cubic yards of soil.
