Document Description
The project consists of placing rock slope protection across a culvert outflow on Arroyo Del Puerta Creek, which is a seasonal stream and flows only following periods of rainfall. The culvert is concrete lined and is under a bridge crossing the channel, and scour has removed much of the bed under the concrete lining. Rock slope protection ranging from 1/4 ton to 1 ton in size would be placed along the culvert to minimize the effects of the scour. Additional rock slope protection would be placed along the stream banks to protect along lateral scour. Issuance of a Streambed Alteration Agreement Number R3-2000-1428 pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1603.
