Document Description
Saint Francis Winery proposes to extend a culvert to allow widening of an access road to their vineyards. A new, 20-foot section of a 4-foot culvert will be added to the existing culvert. The streambed upstream of the existing culvert will be over excavated to allow the new culvert to be slightly below grade. Rock armor will be placed upstream of the new culvert and downstream of the existing culvert to control erosion. The total impact area will be about 30 feet of stream length and 1500 square feet of area. No equipment will be operated in the stream channel. Applicant proposes to reseed the disturbed area with ground cover vegetation similar to that already on the site. Issuance of a Streambed Alteration Agreement Number R3-2001-0293 pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1603.
