Document Description
The project would repair damaged, deteriorated areas and perform routine maintenance of Bryte Bend Bridge (22-0026L and 22-0026R) which carries I-80 traffic over the Sacramento River. This project consists of retrofitting the interior of the box girder superstructure of the bridge, replacing the bearing pads between the superstructure and the bridge piers, and performing deck slab preventative maintenance on the on the road surface (sealing cracks and applying a 19 MM polyester concrete overlay). Repair and maintenance of the bridge benefits the traveling public and the State's economy, and is good stewardship of the public's resources and transportation investments.
