Document Description
The project is an 18-hole links-style golf course, hotel/clubhouse and public open space with associated facility plus a nine-hole short course, on approximately 215 acres of Alameda Point. The project would provide public access on the shoreline via public park operated by the City of Alameda and an extension of the San Francisco Bay Trail. The site contains portions of the abandoned NAS Alameda airfield, guard tower, and several mall structures, all of which would be demolished. The site would be contoured using dredge materials, which would be dewatered and stockpiled on the site prior to the project construction.
