Zoned Resources and Rural Development; currently used as flood control reservoir.
The project would consist of these activities to restore floodwater capacity within Matanzas Reservoir; removal of approximately 120,000 cy of sediment from the reservoir; dewatering the reservoir; removal of vegetation encroaching the reservoir; and construction of permanent access ramps into the reservoir and a road downstream of the dam to facilitate these activities.
