Proposal to repair storm damage to Schulties Road by replacing a failed riprap wall and incorporating bioegineering techniques. This project requires the grading of approximately 475 cubic yards of cut and/or fill on the bank of Burns Creek. Project is located within the existing right-of-way and between Schulties Road and Burns Creek approximately 2 miles south of Summit Road. The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement Number R3-2001-0218 pursuant to Section 1601 of the Fish and Game Code to the project operator, John Swenson/Santa Cruz County Department of Public Works.
