The proposed project consists of installing 2 fiber optic cable systems onto the continental shelf landing at 2 locations in Hermosa Beach. The fiber optic cable systems will connect to a Cable Station in Redondo Beach by buried terrestrial fiber optic cables. The marine fiber optic cables will land at 2 points (a north and south cable landing) in Hermosa Beach, connecting to Japan.
