The Master Plan facilities are located in a variety of Zoning and General Plan designations throughout Palmdale and Los Angeles County.
The Palmdale Water District is preparing an EIR to assess the potential environmental impacts associated with adoption and long-term implementation of the 2001 Water System Master Plan. The Master Plan evaluates the needs and availability of water for a 20-year horizon (to the year 2020) and by identifying necessary water service facilities for a 10-year horizon (to the year 2010).
