Document Description
Centre City Community Plan Amendment, Centre City Planned District Ordinance (PDO) Amendment, Conditional Use Permit (CUP), and Request for Release of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Funds in the amount of $2,700,000 from Fiscal Year 2002, the Twenty-eighth Entitlement Program Year for the acquisition of a 17,790 square foot site occupied by the existing Day's Inn Hotel. The purpose of this acquisition would be to renovate the Day's Inn Hotel and to construct an adjacent 3,000 square foot building to accommodate 47 transitional housing units and associated services. The proposed activity would include nine parking spaces on-site. Amendments to the Community Plan and PDO would allow this use to occur on the proposed site with the approval of a CUP (Lot 1 of Clark Heights, Map 5884). Applicant: City of San Diego
