Cortez Hill Transitional Housing Facility. Request For Release of Funds (CDBG) in the amount of $2,700,000 from Fiscal Year 2002, the Twenty-eighth Entitlement Year, for the acquisition of a 17,790-square-foot site located at 1449 Ninth Avenue, City/County of San Diego. The purpose of this acquisition would be to renovate the existing Days Inn Hotel on this site and construct an adjacent 3,000-square-foot building to accommodate 47 transitional housing units and associated services. The proposed activity would include eleven parking spaces on-site.
