Document Description
City proposes connection to existing State Water pipeline with new city water lines. The City of Solvang proposes to connect to the existing State Water pipeline with new City water lines, deliver the water to zone 1 of the City water system and to City Reservoir #1, and to provide a connection between the City's water zones #1 and #2. The proposed project commences at the State Water Turnout Connection located on Fjord Drive between Alisal Road and Glenn Way, heads northward through new and existing pipes then through the Veteran Memorial Building parking lot block and preceding northward on Alisal Road to Overdel Way where it will tie in with the existing City pipline network for zone #2. This project will allow the City to provide additional domestic water to the entire population of the City of Solvang.
