Document Description
Expand the existing Green Material Compost Facility operations onto a 12-acre portion of an 88-acre parcel and subsequently increase the active composting operation capacity to a maximum of 30,000 cubic yards for active composting and 45,000 cubic yards onsite; the estimated average quantities of feedstock materials accepted at the facility are to be 110 tons per day or up to 40,000 tons annually of green material and 3,500 tons per day of grape pomace (5,000 tons by 2006), and 720 tons per year of gypsum/wallboard, totaling a peak annual loading of 120,000 cubic yards per year, associated average vehicle volumes at the facility to be 40 trips per day at the landfill gate, outgoing waste vehicles will number 10 per day.
