Document Description
Replacement and realignment of an existing gravity-flow pipeline for water distribution, consisting of the construction of approximately 7,400 feet of pipeline, abandonment of a portion of the existing float line and appurtenances, and dismantling of three existing float boxes. The project includes below-grade construction of approximately 5,600 feet of 16-inch diameter cement mortar lined and coated (CMLC) steel pipeline, 1,300 feet of 12-inch ployvinyl chloride (PVC) pipeline and 500 feet of 8-inch PVC pipeline. The transmission would be capable of handling up to 225 psi in pressure. New service lines and connections would be installed for each customer affected by the abandonment of the gravity float line.
