The operator proposes to stabilize the banks and install an outfall structure on the banks of an unnamed tributary to Reliez Creek. The project site is adjacent to Pleasant Hill Road and downstream of Green Valley Drive in Lafayette, Contra Costa County Assessor Parcel Number 230-180-016. Approximately 120 linear feet of the bank will be excavated and a subdrain pipe will be installed at the toe of the bank approximately 12 inches above the water. The bank will be rebuilt using geogrid reinforced fill and bioengineering planting of the bank. Approximately 480 feet downstream of the bank stabilization, a 12 inch outfall structure will be installed on the west bank. The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement Number R3-2000-1394 pursuant to Section 1603 of the Fish and Game Code to the project operator, Arthur Bloedorn.
