Document Description
Install a 20,000 gallon water tank adjacent to existing sand filter building at Butano State Park. Install/repair and subsurface water conveyances and drainage facilities to service new tank. Remove existing above-ground tank. Tank will be buried, with top of tank at gound level. Installation will improve water quality, reduce treatment costs, and improve aesthetic appearance of area. Tank location and drainage facilities will be modified as necessary to avoid impacts to large redwoods (exceeding 24" in diameter) and minimize impacts to small saplings.
