Document Description
This project consists of stabilizing Bothin Creek bank, tributary to Fairfax Creek, tributary to San Anselmo Creek, using rock rip-rap and biotechnical methods. The proposed project includes: rock rip-rap and planted rock rip-rap in a small eroded gully at the upstream end of the Kabus property on the south bank, foundation repair for an existing concrete block wall on the upstream north bank, construction of a planted rock wall along approximately 60 feet of the north bank to control erosion, construction of a one foot high boulder drop structure at the downstream end of the property to control channel degradation, and stabilization of approximately 70 feet of the south bank with biologs and willow cuttings. Bothin Creek supports no known fish populations. Issuance of a Streambed Alteration Agreement Number R3-2001-0018 pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1603.
