Document Description
The operator to replace a faulty culvert stream crossing on an unnamed tributary to Burton Creek, located in Napa County Assessor Parcel Number 018-090-082, at 6307 Pope Valley Road in Napa County. The operators initial proposal calls for removing an existing culvert crossing and replacing it with a 24-inch diameter culvert of undetermined length to be placed at least 20% below the natural stream grade. Accumulated sediments stored behind the original crossing will be removed and disposed of properly. The road bed will be built up over this crossing approximately eight feet. The new culvert will extend past the fill for the road and will be armored with angular, broken rock riprap. Work will only be performed when the stream is dry. Issuance of a Streambed Alteration Agreement Number R3-2001-0004 pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1603.
