Document Description
The California Water Service Company supplies domestic water to King City, and is proposing to operate a groundwater blending facility at Cal Water's Station 7 off Windsor Court in King City. The purpose of the facility is to blend groundwater containing elevated levels of nitrates with a low nitrate level groundwater source to produce water that has nitrate levels will below MCL (45ppm). This project was determined to be necessary since Station 2 has two wells that are high in nitrates and Station 7 has one well that is low in nitrates. This project affects the City's water system, and therefore the residents of King City who use the public water system will be the beneficiaries of the project.
