Document Description
The operator proposes to clear Pierce's Disease host vegetation and replant with native species, and stabilize the banks of the Napa River. The project site is located along the Napa River in Napa County Assessor Parcel Number 030-060-025-000 at 105 East Zinfandel Lane, St. Helena. Along 1140-linear feet of stream bank approximately 0.44-acres of riparian vegetation in nine separate sites will be selectively removed and replaced with native riparian species. Along approximately 208-linear feet of stream bank at three sites; willow wall and willow mattress revetments will be constructed to stabilize the banks. To minimize impacts to the riparian system this project will be phased in over two years. All work will be done by hand and no work is planned to occur in the stream. Issuance of a Streambed Alteration Agreement Number R3-2000-1270 pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1603.
