Document Description
The Sonoma County Department of Transportation and Public Works proposes to install a new storm drain under Willow Road and Canyon Three Road, parallel to Canyon Three Creek, in Rio Nido to increase the capacity of the stormwater drainage system in the project area to handle a large (10-year) design storm. The storm drain would have an outlet in Canyon Three Creek near the southern end of Willow Road, where the existing creek has adequate capacity. The project consists of the Willow Road segment and Canyon Three Road segment. The project would be constructed in phases - the Canyon Three Road Segment would be constructed first, followed by the Willow Road segment. Construction of the Willow Road segment would involve installing about 700 feet of 54-inch storm drain pipe under Willow Road and constructing a permanent creek outlet. Construction of the Canyon Three Road segment would involve installing about 2000 feet of 54-inch storm drain pipe under Canyon Three Road and constructing a permanent creek inlet.
