On March 18,1999, a General Plan amendment to the Land Use Element of the Metropolitan Bakersfield 2010 General Plan and zone change Case P98-0749 from Light Industrial to Mixed Commercial Use, from M-1(light Manufacturing) to C-C (Commercial Center) was approved by the Planning Commission of the City of Bakersfield for the project site.
Document Description
The project consists of land acquisition, design & construction of a 33,000 square foot administrative center and a 2,200 square foot shop maintenance/storage facility for the Housing Authority of the County of Kern (Authority). Improvements include parking, walkways, lighting, landscaping, curbs, gutters, irrigation, sidewalks, bus stops with shelters, drive approaches, and related improvements. CDBG funds will be used for land acquisition, construction and related improvements.
