A concurrent General Plan Amendment and Zone Change to amend the Land Use Element of the Metropolitan Bakersfield 2010 General Plan by changing the land use map designation from General Commercial to Low Density Residential on 8.560 acres and Low Density Residential to General Commercial on 8.562 acres and change the zoning from C-2 to R-1 on 8.560 acres and R-1 to C-2 on 8.562 acres at the northeast corner of Buena Vista Road and Panama Lane. The purpose of the project is to reconfigure the existing commercial frontage from Buena Vista Road to Panama Lane.
