The projects in question will be constructed in the area bounded to the north by Kimball Avenue, to the east by Euclid Avenue, to the south by Pine Avenue and to the west by El Prado Road all within the City of Chino, County of San Bernardino, State of California.
Document Description
The Inland Empire Utilities Agency is proposing to install/construct and operate up to six pilot digester facilities for the purpose of converting agricultural manure to gas to provide a reliable energy supply for the generator's at the Chino I Desalter located in the City of Chino. This will allow this facility to roll off the grid during Stage II and III Electrical emergencies, providing additional power to the grid while maintaining a reliable source of water for the cities and agencies the Desalter supplies. Upon completion of pilot testing (but not more than five years), these facilities will be removed/relocated.
