Document Description
The proposed project is the subdivision and construction of a new mixed-use development, Rancho Cucamonga Town Square, on approximately 34.6 acres of land located at the southwest corner of Haven Avenue and Foothill Boulevard. Development of the site will integrate professional uses with retail, service commercial, and community-oriented uses. In addition, there will be a 388-unit apartment complex, with an additional 24 apartment lofts to be built over a portion of the retail uses. The project will require an amendment to both the General Plan and the Industrial Area (zoning districts) Specific Plan. The amendment would re-designate the project site from "Industrial" and "Medium High Residential, Commercial, Office, and Park uses. The project will be developed in five phases over a five-year period, beginning in fall 2001. At build-out, the project area will total approximately 34.6 acres of mixed-use including an office complex (0.55 acre), high density apartments (13.79 acres), two restaurants (0.99 acre), a daycare facility (.30 acre), a specialty market (0.31 acre), De Ambrogio Heritage Park (0.45 acre), retail stores (1.17 acres), mixed-use retail and apartment lofts (0.54 acre), as well as a small outdoor mall in the northeast corner of the development (13.4 acres).
