Consists of an enclosed building, mainly with mild processing to make dry mild and other products.
KMS Tipton is proposing to construct a new cogeneration facility equipped with two 7MW SOLAR Taurus Model 70-T10301S gas turbine engines, each with a heat recovery steam generator (HRSG). Emissions of nitrogen oxides (NOx) from the turbine will be controlled with SoLoNOx combustion technology and selective catalytic reduction (SCR) with ammonia injection. The cogeneration system will operate to provide electricity and steam to the existing California Dairies, Inc., plant in Tipton.
