The facility is located in an area zoned for commercial, light industrial, residential use.
The proposed project consists of the storage and treatment of ordinance and explosive waste (OEW) contamination discovered during ordinance investigations at the project site. The specific objectives are to store and/or treat (render safe), and ultimately remove from the Property any ordinance and ordinance related items found in OEW investigations on the Whittaker-Bermite Property.
