Removal of non-native, evasive grasses and ornamental plant materials within an existing passive natural park. The park will be retained and managed by the City of Newport Beach as a natural park. Existing native vegetation will be retained. Replanting will be completed by hand with native, drought tolerant plantings found in the area. Existing walking trails will be improved. A fuel modification zone using native and drought resistant plantings will be created to protect abutting residential properties.
