This project is to close an industrial waste line, a clay pipe 2 miles long together with 1 mile of feeder pipes. The industrial waste line conveyed wastes from airline maintenance shops to disposal facilities (lagoons) and industrial waste treatment plant. The lagoons and industrial waste treatment plant are undergoing closure and remediation in separate projects. The industrial waste line will be closed in place by filling the existing pipe with cement, after cleaning out residual hazardous waste remaining in the pipe.
