Document Description
The proposed Irvine Lake Pipelines (ILP) chlorine facilities will reduce the possibility of a chlorine leak through the replacement of the existing chlorine facilities. The new facility would be constructed next to the existing facility within the property jointly owned by the Irvine Ranch Water District (IRWD) and Serrano Water District. The proposed chlorination facility upgrade for ILP includes a new concrete block building, new chlorination equipment and leak containment/treatment facilities. Construction is estimated to take 11 months from award to acceptance, with 7 to 8 months of construction activity.
