The Eastern Municipal Water District Moreno Valley Regional Water Reclamation Facility (MVRWRF) collects and treats municipal sewage, eventually reclaiming wastewater for reuse. The MVRWRF provides secondary and tertiary levels of wastewater treatment, with tertiary being the higher level allowing for reuse for any purpose other than direct human consumption.
