Document Description
The Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena Airport Authority ("Authority") has proposed a multi-component project for the purpose of improving runway safety at Burbank Airport ("Airport"). Project components include:
* Acquisition of fee simple title by the Authority of 5 acres of Trust property.
* Construction of a new 15.3-acre public parking lot on approximately 10.3 cares of vacant Airport land and 5 acres vacant property adjacent to the Airport.
* Relocation of approximately 15.3 acres of existing public parking onto this new lot.
* Removal of approximately 4.4 acres of parking lot improvements on existing Airport property located east of runway 8-26 and replacement with landscaping and fencing.
* Termination of lease of 1.0 acres of parking lot and return of the lot to its current owner, the City of Burbank Redevelopment Agency.
* Removal of existing parking lot improvements on approximately 10 acres of existing Airport property.
