Document Description
This project involves the construction of a storm drain outfall to Santa Rosa Creek off Melita Road in Santa Rosa, Sonoma County. The storm drain will drain a new 16 lot subdivision between Melita Road and Highway 12. The storm drain outlet will be constructed to the standards of the Sonoma County Water Agency. The outfall will consist of a 30" pipe with approximately 5 cubic yards of rock rip-rap to stabilize the outfall. The outfall has been located to avoid impacts to trees. About 600 square feet of blackberry, poison oak, and ivy will be disturbed during the construction process. Following construction of the disturbed area will be hydroseeded to control erosion. The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement Number R3-2001-0123 pursuant to Section 1603 of the Fish and Game Code to the project operator, Ted Aksnes of Seascape Development.
