Document Description
Caltrans is proposing to place rock slope protection along LAS 139, PM 59.0 to reduce bank erosion that threatens the stability of the highway and deposits sediment into Willow Creek. The project is expected to take about 8 days to complete. The Modoc sucker, a state and federally listed endangered species, is present in this creek. Caltrans has informally consulted with USFWS and DFG on the possible effects to suckers in Willow Creek, resulting in direct USFWS supervision.
