Document Description
The Public Safety Building located at the southwest corner of Redwood and Vine Street will house the Public Safety Department. The building would be 2,900 square feet. The structure system is wood frame and allows flexibility of interior space. The building exterior elevations reflect the architectural vocabulary of classical design. The base of the building is clad in cut stone with stucco accenting and metal standing seam roof. The Parking and Information Booth will be relocated at the south edge of lawn outside the Evert Person Theatre, just off of Redwood Drive. The proposed design is a single-story building with a gabled roof covering an attic and mechanical space. This simple building is an architectural datum that provides a setting for the larger architecture composition that is the Person Theatre. The building is approximately 144 square feet. The structural system is wood frame. The building design of the exterior elevations reflect the architectural vocabulary of classical design. The base of the building is clad in cut stone with stucco accenting and metal standing seam roof.
