Document Description
Install willow cuttings and checkdams at the base of the gully to stabilize grade, control downcutting and gully erosion, and prevent additional slope failure. Willow cutting will be collected from local material and revegetation with native materials will occur in the actively eroding area. Temporary fencing and signage will be installed to prevent disturbance during recovery. Monitoring will continue for three years to ensure erosion control and success of revegetation. The restoration work is park of a mitigation agreement with the Mendocino County Coastal Planning Department.
