Document Description
The San Juan Unified School District proposes to relocate its bus yard facility from its current location at 3738 Walnut Avenue in Carmichael, California, to a 3.6 acre parcel presently owned by the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District, located at 3050 Orange Grove Avenue in the North Highlands area of Sacramento County. In addition, the District proposes to asphalt an adjacent 1.96 acre parcel located west of the 3.6 acre parcel for overflow parking. The combined acreage from the two parcels will accommodate parking for up to 201 buses and 250 private vehicles. Vehicular traffic will be dispersed along Orange Grove Avenue on weekdays at various different intervals beginning at 5 a.m. and ceasing at 6 p.m..
