Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes to widen the Novato Creek Bridge into the existing Route 101 median to accommodate a southbound Route 101 High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lane widening. The proposed bridge widening will close the gap between the two existing bridges. The superstructure will be a Cast-in-Place concrete structure. The substructure will consist of concrete abutments, anchored by six driven concrete piles. The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2012-0139-3 pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game to project Applicant, Jeffrey Jensen/California Department Transportation.
