Document Description
The proposed project involves installation of a landmark monument, median landscaping and improvements, and traffic signal improvements. One landmark monument would be constructed at the Fulton Avenue offramp from eastbound Business-80. Median landscaping and improvements would consist of construction of curbed landscaped medians. The upper asphalt layer would be replaced with colored asphalt stamped with a design. Architectural structures would also be constructed within the median at all four approaches to the Fulton and Marconi Avenues. The signals at Auburn Boulevard, El Camino Avenue and Cottage Way would be modified to provide u-turn capability. The signal at Edison would be modified due to grade, curb and gutter improvements. Fulton Avenue would be widened at the southwest corner of El Camino Avenue and the northeast corner of Cottage Way. Full widening would occur at the southeast corner of Auburn Boulevard. No new signalized intersections are proposed.
