Calaveras County Water District anticipates the implementation of its La Contenta Reclaimed Water Storage Project which would increase the storage capacity of the lower reservoir from 23-acre-feet to 125 acre-feet. The main objective of the project is to increase permitted storage to prevent the release of reclaimed water to surface waters (i.e., Cosgrove Creek) and to maximize reclaimed water storage at the lower reservoir site.
