The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a lake and streambed alteration agreement pursuant to Section 1601 of the Fish and Game code to the project applicant, [Mr. Peter J. Kampa representing the McCloud Community Services District]. The project proposes in connection with improvement of the water supply intake and pipeline system serving the community of McCloud by the McCloud Community Services District, installation of a water supply pipeline under three (3) stream crossings at existing road culverts, replacement of an existing access road bridge crossing of Squaw Creek and installation of rip-rap to protect new bridge abutments, and installation of pipeline support structures within the stream at the Intake Springs water supply facility.
