Document Description
Both mining quarries are currently operating under legal entitlements and no change is proposed in most of the approved mining and processing activities. The application for Conditional Use Permit 99CUP-34 and Reclamation Plan 99RP-01 includes the following five main components. 1. Combining the columbia and the BMM quarries under a single conditional use permit; 2. Increasing the permitted average annual production rate to a total of 1.1 million tons of material; 3. Changing the hours of processing plant operation to 24 hours; 4. Integrating reclamation plans for both quarries; and 5. Modifying the existing permitted mining boundary to be consistent with the areas indentified for site reclamation.
