Document Description
The proposed project consists of upgrading an existing storm drainage system to provide for improved drainage and reduce localized flooding. The current system is not large enough to carry the increase surface flows associated with increased development. As a result, storm water runoff backs up in the manholes and drain inlets resulting in the flooding of low-lying areas and homes. The project proposes to install 1,060 linear feet of 24" drainage pipe, 168 linear feet of 12" drainage pipe, 3 new drainage inlets, and 7 new manholes. Right of Entries and agreements for utility easements will need to be secured where construction will pass though private property. Excavation will take place in paved roadways, landscaped residential lawns and along Cripple Creek.
