Document Description
The facilities would include demolition of many of the existing structures followed by preparation of the site. New facilities would include a central courtyard with several classroom wings, a library/media center, and a performing arts/gymnasium building. Two current structures would be renovated for administration and multi-use facilities. The present parking lot at the Los Gatos Almaden Road, Taft Drive intersection would be removed to make way for new buildings and to enhance safety. Parking would be consolidated at the reconfigured parking lot at the northeast corner of the 18.4 acre middle school. The new lot would provide pick-up/drop-off lanes to facilitate traffic ingress and egress and there would be no net loss of parking spaces.
